Position: Senior Timer
Description: Independently times an event without support. Duties include, but are not limited to setting up and dismantling a timing system, database management (Pre and Post race), meet or event management, trouble shooting software, setting up a finish-line for a cross country / road race, and other duties to time an event while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements: Must have been a support timer or have previous experience with meet management software, the Finishlynx timing system, and/or the IPICO Chip Timing Software. Must be able to properly set-up and dismantle timing systems that are needed for the events being timed. Must be able to lift 45 lbs.. Must be able to provide exceptional customer service.
Position: Support Timer
Description: Supports a Senior Timer with timing an event. Requirements: Must be able to follow directions precisely, must be able to deal with people in a positive manner. Not required, but is helpful to have experience with running or participating in track and field.
Position: Track & Field Meet Starters
Description: Track and Field Meet Starters are responsible for firing a starting pistol to begin track running events.
Requirements: Must have experience as a Meet Starter, can keep the flow of a track meet going by setting up the next race as the current race is underway. Must be able to recognize false starts, athlete "time outs", and know the commands for each race.
Position: Track and Field Clerks of Course
Description: Track and Field Meet Clerks of Course are responsible for checking in athletes in their correct events on a timely manner while announcing first, second, and final calls for each event.
Requirements: Must have experience as a Clerk, can keep the flow of a track meet going by getting athletes checked into their event and sending them to the area of their competition. Must be able to understand the importance of hip numbers.
Position: Internship - Event Marketing
Description: Internship works with company to work with the 5 P's of Marketing - Product, Place, Promotion, Price, and Public Relations. There will be hands on experience and guidance to market upcoming events that are provided by the company
Requirements: Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sport Management, or related field. Must come highly recommended from current professors in the field of Marketing or Sport Management.
Position: Internship - Event Planner
Description: Internship works with company in organizing, planning, and implementing an upcoming event. There will be hands on experience and guidance to help plan, organize, and implement upcoming events that are provided by the company.
Requirements: Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Sport Management or related field. Must come highly recommended from current professors in the field of Sport Management.
