Elite Timing and Event Management

1001 Johnson Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33803

About Company

The company originally started before there was an actual business.  While planning and organizing a college meet, which I was hosting for my college team, I realized my passion. To see the end result of "organized" chaos made me fill accomplished.  To hear fans, athletes, parent, coaches and administrators say how well run the event was, made me feel great.  I then carried this same energy to a track season and more events.  All and all, I hosted, timed, or managed five more events and the vision became more apparent.  This is what started Elite Timing and Event Management.

About the Owner - Rick Moody

Rick Moody began running for Bartow High School in 1992.  He was 1 of 3 participants on the cross country team.  When he graduated in 1994, his goal was to coach cross country and track and field to improve the sport.  When he received his first coaching position at Bartow High School in 1996, the rest was history.  He went on to become one of the best coaches in the area and to coach at NCAA Division II school Florida Southern College.
